My first time seeing them was in 1980 at the lycuem in london i think it was,then after they were all Hammersmith or Brixton gig..all london gigs.

40 years ago yesterday on the AS tour

It snowed and my Dad gave me and my mate a lift in to Oxford for it.

Feline tour Hammersmith Odeon 15th February 1983 i was only 16 . All the papers the next day were full of how there was riots at the Stranglers gig. There was no riot but all the seats got smashed up so they had to cancel the 2nd night.

Hugh took exception to the way the bouncers were behaving and started bad mouthing them, they then refused to play on till all the bouncers were removed from the auditorium.

18.9.78 Peterborough Wirrina Stadium, I was 15, taken to the gig with two mates by my mum in her new Skoda...... :grin:

Supported by Rif Raf (Billy Bragg) and The Skids........what a gig!!
